Ingredients
3 Boiled Potatoes
2 Green Chilies
Coriander Leaves
1 Medium Size Onion
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt To Taste
8-10 Bread Slices
Oil For Deep Fry
For Seasoning
1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 Tsp Chana Dal
1/2 Tsp Urad Dal
Curry Leaves
1 Tbsp Oil
Potato Stuffing
Heat 1 Tbsp of Oil in a non stick pan and add Mustard Seeds, when they start to pop then add Cumin seeds, Chana Dal, Urad Dal, Green Chilies & Curry leaves and saute till they turn into golden yellow color..
Then add then chopped onions and saute it till they turn transparent.
Add the mashed potatoes, chilli powder and adjust the salt..
Mix well and cook for 10 mins.
Finally add the Coriander leaves..
Keep it aside and let it cool for sometime.....
Bread Bonda Preparation
Heat Oil in a deep fry pan
In the meantime make small lemon sized balls with the Potato Stuffing...
Take a Bread Slice, cut the edges and dip the bread slice in the water,take it out immediately and
squeeze it...
Now place the potato ball ( Aloo Stuffing ) in the middle of the Bread Slice and close the edges carefully..
Slowly leave them into hot oil and fry them until it turns into golden brown color..
Drain the excess Oil and Repeat...
Serve Hot with Chilli Sauce Or Ketchup
